The app
JumpHigh measures your vertical jump with your iPhone's camera and provides training sessions with form feedback. It is a training tool, not a medical device; measurements are estimates produced by on-device computer vision and can be affected by lighting, framing, and technique.
Not medical advice
JumpHigh provides general fitness information and training content for educational purposes only. Nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using JumpHigh does not create a doctor–patient or trainer–client relationship. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you saw in JumpHigh. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop and call your local emergency number.
Consult professionals first
Talk to a physician before starting this or any exercise program — especially if you have (or suspect) a heart condition, high blood pressure, asthma, joint or bone problems, a current or past injury, are pregnant, take medication, or have any other medical condition. We also encourage working with a qualified coach or physical-education professional to learn correct technique, particularly for high-impact plyometric exercises such as depth jumps. If you are under 18, get a parent's or guardian's permission before using JumpHigh and involve them, your doctor, or your coach in decisions about your training.
Assumption of risk
Exercise — and jump training in particular — is physically demanding and carries inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, including muscle strains, sprains, fractures, joint injuries, falls, and, in rare cases, serious cardiovascular events. By using JumpHigh you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily accept them. Train within your own limits. Warm up before every session. Use a flat, dry, non-slip surface with clear space around you, supportive footwear, and a stable, secure platform for any exercise involving a box, bench, or elevated surface. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or anything that does not feel right.
No guaranteed results; estimates only
Training outcomes vary from person to person and depend on factors outside our control, including genetics, effort, consistency, sleep, nutrition, and health. JumpHigh does not promise or guarantee any particular result, including any specific increase in jump height. Measurements and form feedback are estimates produced by on-device computer vision; they are not medical-grade or laboratory-grade measurements and can be affected by lighting, framing, phone hardware, and technique.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JumpHigh and its creators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage — direct or indirect, including personal injury or property damage — arising from or related to your use of the app, your training, or reliance on any information in the app or on this site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
